Currently when many projects are listed it takes some time to update their "freshness" status(it takes one svn info call), this procedure should be made more efficient somehow.

Probably the simplest way is to add some sort of a pager so that not all projects are shown at once. Then it makes sense to add alphabetic projects grouping and grouping by category alphabetically as well.
